The fifth-ranked Hawkeyes will aim to establish themselves as one of the top teams in the Big Ten Conference when they take on Maryland. The number 23 Maryland will face the second-best team in college football, the University of Maryland, at College Park. In addition to cycling in College Park, commuting to and from the University of Maryland campus and other parts of Washington, D.C. is as easy as possible with public transportation, including the Greenbelt Metrorail, Maryland Transit Administration (MBTA) and buses. Shuttle and UM buses run between the city and campus on weekdays, and the B30 bus connects you to College Park Green Belt Station, Metro Link and the Beltway from Station B.
I don't think Maryland has a special affinity with Rutgers, but I'm excited to see the Scarlet Knights play against the Maryland Terrapins at Byrd Stadium. Maryland's geographical proximity could add some spice to the series this year. If you need to stop on the way to Interstate 95, the Chesapeake Maryland House at I-95 is open to the rest of Cecil and Harford counties.
