The teachers and office staff are always professional and the school counselors make a genuine effort to build positive rapport with the kids and parents. The school is clean and the parking lot is well-kept. There are many underlying issues involving this school, and Clayton County schools as a whole. My children attend this school, and some , not all of the staff are very unprofessional in their approach to teaching our children. When a parent wants to get involved some of these teachers have very negative attitudes, and are very hesitant to discuss what is going on with your child. They have a lot of after school programs. Their always having plays and programs and clubs. They even award the kids. There always having different fundraiser too. There music teacher always has different programs . Ms.Guida (the music teacher) has the children singing and dancing all the time. Ms.Thigpen (computer teacher) teaches them different academic skills on the computer and teaches them how to type and what the computer buttons do.They have three coaches Samanski,Burton,and Jackson they use discipline and fun to get the kids heart pumpin.Their art teacher lets hem learn about different people and things by drawing.The teachers have their own personalities. Strict and education is what every teacher has.”
