College Park Elementary School Reviews

College Park Elementary has great potential. It has an excellent principal and staff, a large facility in excellent shape, and a very orderly student population that seems ready to learn. This is what I have observed in my first few visits to the school. We will be enrolling our son in kindergarten there in Fall 2009. What the school needs now is more involved parents sending your kids there. It is OUR local school and I look forward to helping it succeed even more.

CPE is improving every year. I believe test scores are up about 10-15% from the year before. The staff and teachers are working hard to make it a better place. There are small problems here and there, but nothing major. For younger children this is a great school.

The perception of this school and lack of parental support is this schools main two problems. Test scores are improving yearly and if parents would just give it a chance they would see a great facility filled with everything you could want. The staff and teachers have been very helpful and supportive. They just need your support back.

This has been one of the worst schools i have ever seen. The teachers and staff are too busy being cute to even worry about the children. After the school board decided to rezone the children from other schools, many of them are failing. I have spoken with my childs teacher, as well as administrators and they all felt as if its only my child. I have spoken with over a dozen parents who are experiencing the same thing. If it wasnt for the fact that this is my childs'district' school, I would have sent her elsewhere.
